D2 recently engaged with two confidential sister financial companies to design their headquarters relocations. Located in the FMC tower in west Philadelphia on separate floors, a major driver for both companies was to maintain a connection via the design aesthetic while showcasing the unique culture and personality of both. The originally founded company, with a rich investment history spanning two centuries, needed a space that showcased an established firm and presented a story of success. Traditional materials like warm wood and polished marble contrast floor to ceiling transparent glass and bold color. Modern and innovative solutions, like the mobile Board Room table and reconfigurable Reception and Lounge prove that the company’s history is equally matched by its innovation. The hospitality vibe offers a workplace experience that is warm, comfortable, and future-forward.
