FIRE

Defending and promoting free speech for all Americans, FIRE knew that its new headquarters in Downtown Philadelphia must inspire action and manifest the foundation’s values with collaboration, mobility, and flexibility at its core. Fittingly featuring views of Independence Hall and the Constitution Center, the space is an immersive display of America’s long-spanning challenge to uphold First Amendment rights. The result is a well-branded, modern workplace that facilitates freedom through function.

To create this experience, D2 partnered with FIRE to craft a branded story that unfolds as visitors tour the space. The walking path reveals the historical context behind the significance of FIRE’s mission while expanding upon its current advocacy efforts – providing a deeper understanding of the organization and its purpose.

Numerous multipurpose spaces, including a reception area and a large, flexible collaborative area, support individual work, group activities, and high-energy events. These spaces give employees the freedom to define their office day. By creating user choices and emphasizing storytelling through environmental branding, FIRE’s headquarters has become an extension of its mission and performs to support its cause.
