D2 Welcomes two new employees to our Architecture Studio!

D2 is thrilled to welcome two new talented designers to the Architecture team – Dylan Robertson and Patrick Willig.

PATRICK WILLIG

Patrick spent the summer with us as an intern and has joined us full time this fall. He received his Bachelor of Architecture with a focus on Environmental Sustainability from Temple University and has most recently completed his Graduate degree in Architecture.

Since beginning his internship, Patrick has sampled the full design process and has developed an appreciation of the conceptual design process – using hand sketch methods to work through design problems and define an approach. His love of collaboration has allowed him the opportunity to work across the studio and we look forward to working with him, helping to further develop his skills, and watching him grow!

Outside of work, Patrick enjoys painting and mixed media art, snowboarding, running and hiking.

Welcome, Patrick!

DYLAN ROBERTSON

D2 Welcomes Dylan to our Architecture Studio!

D2 is thrilled to have Dylan join our Architecture Studio as a Project Designer. Dylan is a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Architecture from Drexel University. Dylan comes to D2 with almost 5 years of experience working on buildings of many types – additions, renovations, and historic restorations for retail, commercial, hospitality and residential spaces. Prior to D2, Dylan was with TK Studio where he specialized in workplace design for clients like Factory Donuts and Scrub Daddy. He stays focused on his professional development and is currently studying to take the Practice Management test.

Dylan is invested in the entire process of a project and enjoys the opportunity to experience a space both physically and digitally as it transforms. He is skilled in working with conceptual renderings, testing materials and getting them to present realistically in a rendering. He believes spaces shape behaviors and provoke feeling. An optimist at heart, Dylan dreams big about what a space can become but is careful to keep in mind the practical necessity that a space foster the activity at hand.

Jumping out of drawing occasionally, Dylan enjoys riding his motorcycle, camping, football, longboarding and dinner with some good friends!

Welcome to the studio, Dylan!
