D2 welcomes Leigh Ternosky to our Interior Design team as a Project Designer. Over the last six years, Leigh has participated in a mix of project types in both commercial and residential design including clubhouses, game rooms, leasing offices, common areas, and bars. Her focus on strategic space planning makes her an excellent addition to our Tenant Planning team! She’ll also be assisting in planning exercises on some of our larger corporate projects. Leigh’s philosophy “don’t dream it, be it” has propelled her in her career and we are excited to watch her grow in the D2 studio.

Leigh received her BFA from the New York School of Interior Design, graduating Cum Laude. Professionally she is currently working toward her NCIDQ certification.

“I believe D2 Groups is a great fit because I enjoy working in a fast paced, multi-disciplined environment that allows for plenty of growth and adaptability.”  

Leigh doesn’t miss a detail. As a designer, she specializes in space planning and exhibits strengths in design software like Revit and AutoCAD. She is adaptable and sees the full picture of every project, often incorporating branding into her designs – a perfect fit for the D2 Studio! Leigh excels at designing with the client in mind because what she enjoys most about a career in design is making her clients happy!

Leigh is just as creative in the studio as she is in her personal life. On her own time, she enjoys building models and analog collaging using magazine clippings. Resting her right brain from time to time, Leigh also enjoys walking, listening to music and watching horror movies.
