D2 was awarded first prize in the Sustainable/Green Design category for the Hartford Funds project at the 2018 Philadelphia IDA Awards.

Hartford Funds new HQ achieved a LEED Silver, LEED ID+C, v 2009 for the relocation project in Wayne, PA. All finishes are 100% low VOC, wood veneers are FSC certified, all furniture meets SMaRT and Level 3 certifications, 85% of all construction waste generated was recycled. The HVAC systems were fully renovated for efficiency and air quality improvement. Signage displayed throughout the building promotes sustainable education and details operating practices. Sustainable planning continues outside- new bike racks and reserved parking spots for low emissions vehicles promote energy efficient ways to get to the office.
