We are honored to have received the 15th Annual IIDA Pennsylvania New Jersey Delaware Chapter Philadelphia Design Award for Best Corporate Design over 20,000 SF. Arborcrest was an exciting project for our team and now rewarding.

Arborcrest V is not your mother’s suburban office building. New York investor Spear Street Capital purchased the outdated Arborcrest office park with the intent to breathe new life into the Blue Bell office market. To match their investment portfolio, primarily in New York and California, Spear Street sought to create a cutting-edge, urban environment for the five building office campus—a bit of suburban disruption. Arborcrest V houses the amenities and sets the tone for the rest of the campus: simple, bold, youthful, healthy, tech-oriented.

A key part of bringing an urban vibe to Arborcrest was to create a community environment—a setting where people from throughout the multi-tenant park could come together and feel part of the same community. While Aborcrest V draws people together, the building layout and amenity features also keep people moving: do a dance in front of the flip-disc wall or walk through the garage doors of the gym to an outdoor basketball court.

Arborcrest V is not your mother’s suburban office building.

Spear Street used the Arborcrest V project to roll out a fresh, new brand identity, integrated seamlessly into the physical architecture of the space. Brand colors and geometries form the foundation of the design. Concrete patchwork flooring and faceted wall and ceiling panels are contrasted with organic shapes. Branding elements are built into the architecture of the space—directory signage is built into the millwork and tile patterns. Large-scale custom graphic wallcoverings perpetuate the brand’s dot motif on accent walls throughout the space.
