Wills Eye Opens Newly Renovated Cornea Service

Earlier this month, our team was proud to join Wills Eye Hospital for the ribbon cutting of the newly renovated Cornea Service. It marked an important milestone not just for the space itself, but for a broader, multi‑floor effort to modernize care environments while keeping one of the nation’s leading eye hospitals fully operational.

In addition to the 9th-floor Cornea Service, D2 and Wills Eye recently completed work on the 14th‑floor Neuro‑Ophthalmology Service. Though distinct in function, the two projects were carefully sequenced and delivered as part of a single, highly coordinated effort.

Together, these projects reflect a long‑standing, collaborative partnership with Wills Eye Hospital and a shared commitment to thoughtful healthcare design. They demonstrate how lessons learned can carry forward, how continuity can be preserved during change, and how well‑designed environments quietly support better care.

We invite you to explore the full project stories below and take a closer look at how each space came together.

Congratulations again to the Wills Eye Physicians team on this exciting milestone and on spaces built to support care today and into the future.
